    Description

    Pre 1935 production Royal Copenhagen Denmark porcelain figurine of a Chow dog in a standing pose, model 2969, modeled by their well known artist Knud Kyhn. Collectors will know that vintage Chow dog figurines are scarce, and this one is a particularly nice example. The hallmark on this figurine dates production to before 1935, a nice early piece. The figurine is of first quality (no scratch through the hallmark) and measures 6 7/8" tall by 6 3/4" long. It has been kept behind glass in a display cabinet since I purchased it for my collection in 1995.
