  • Condition: The camera is in working condition with the "I" shutter setting firing every time and the "T" setting working as well. The four 4X5 double film holders are in useable condition we believe. The leather covering is intact for the most part making this camera in wonderful condition for being nearly 125 years old. The lens appears to need cleaning, but we did not attempt it. See all 12 photos.

    Description

    This camera is quite remarkable and still in very good condition. It is very difficult to find as it was only made in one year, 1898. It is covered with fine morocco leather and uses 4X5 sheet film. We did some research on this camera and copies of our findings will be included in the sale. The company catalog lists the size of the 1898 model as 8X5.25X6.75. However, this camera looks identical to the catalog image, but measures 10X5.5X7, somewhat larger.
