Polyimide tape is highly resistant to heat and is an excellent thermal conductor, perfectly suiting it for use in microsoldering repair
It can sustain the extremely high temperatures necessary for a reflow soldering operation
Its anti-static properties, such as its low peel voltage (the voltage generated when you unwind it), makes it ideal for use around sensitive electronics
Its high dielectric strength means it can be used as an electrical insulator, shielding and protecting sensitive components
Our polyimide tape has comparable properties to 3M Kapton® polyimide tape and a drop-in replacement
