    Plush Panda Toy from China--does not work
    This fuzzy Panda Bear with bamboo in his mouth will be a cute addition to a collection or display but
    does not seem to work
    . Panda was a souvenir from China and originally walked and played "Happy Birthday," but now he is silent. Of course, that could be operator error.
    This Panda Toy has those cute clean-cut black and white Panda markings, with shiny plastic eyes and nose and a sprig of plastic bamboo attached.  Hard plastic case underneath has a few Chinese characters, an On/Off sliding switch, and a clean battery case that holds two AA batteries, not included.
    I tried the Panda Toy with new batteries and got no response. Since there is no corrosion or other sign of damage, the buyer might be able to repair him easily. If you know someone who enjoys a fix-it challenge, this might be the Panda they need. Please look at photos using the zoom tool.
