  • Condition: Ruddy photograde as Fine due to Hairlines visible, parts of drape visible. Wording on reverse, "States of and A of America," is weak. Wear to hair over ear and top of head. Wear at high points on leaves on reverse. Tarnish near face and on reverse at bottom of wreath. Damage to right of Liberty.

    Description

    This is a large date 1807 over 06 with pointed number 1,  Draped Bust Large Cent. Area of tarnish near face and reverse at bottom right of wreath. This coin is considered Fine by Ruddy Photograde book due to hair detail and drape on bust visible.  It is a Philadelphia Mint Cent from my father's small collection of monies given to me prior to his passing in 1990. I have to downsize myself now so I am selling the collection here.  Hair lines are present though they are worn at top of head and over ear. . Wreath has little detail on top leaves  According to my Yeoman's book from 2021, only 829,221 coins from that year were minted originally of all types including small date 07 over 6, large fraction,  small fraction and die break comet,   This coin has possible stamping error to right of Liberty head.
