toe strap sandals everyone wore back in the 60's and 70's. Call them Buffalo Sandals, Hippie Sandals, Jesus Sneakers, Jesus Sandals,
Kolhapuri Sandals - they're still as comfortable as you remember. They are hand-stitched with stacked-leather soles. Available in Light Brown, Dark Brown or Black

These sandals are made to FIT A REGULAR WIDTH foot but sometimes we may be able to find a pair to fit the width of your foot since they are handmade and each pair varies slightly. *******PLEASE SEND US THE MEASUREMENTS FOR YOUR FOOT!*******
Once you have placed your order, we would like you to SEND US YOUR MEASUREMENTS! of the length and width of your LARGEST/WIDEST foot to make it easier for us to pick a pair that will fit you properly.
The best thing to do is to measure your foot.  First, place a ruler/measuring tape on the floor and stand on it with your largest/widest foot, lining your heel up with the end where the 0 would be. Now stand on that ONE foot, with ALL OF YOUR WEIGHT on the ruler and wiggle your toes to make sure your foot it perfectly flat on the ruler. Write down the measurement of where you big toe reaches.
Now, turn the ruler/measuring tape a quarter turn and stand on it again, WITH ALL OF YOUR WEIGHT, so the ruler is going across under your foot at it WIDEST point, usually near the balls of your feet, wiggle your toes again and write down the measurement. Now send us those two measurement so we can look for a pair that will fit you correctly....Do you have extra wide feet or narrow feet? We NEED to know this!....Please, send us any additional info that may help us in fitting you with the perfect pair of sandals.
CHILD'S Size 2 sandal measures approximately 8 1/2" in length and 3 1/8" in width.  If your foot measures more than 8" in length this pair of sandals will be too small for you!

Here's the OLD HIPPIE secret to breaking in your new sandals for a perfect fit
- Your new sandals will feel a bit stiff when you first receive them. Before you wear them, follow these directions to break in your new sandals and make them very comfortable to wear - First, put your sandals on and then place your feet, with the sandals on, in water. You can use a tub of water, stand in the shower or walk with them in a lake or an ocean for about 3 minutes.
Leaving them in the water longer WILL NOT make them shrink or stretch, t
hey will only conform to your feet, AS THEY DRY, while you are wearing them.
You are only wetting them to soften the leather and make it more pliable.
After about 3 minutes, r
emove your feet and sandals from the water and keep wearing them until they are completely dry. As they dry, they will mold to your feet and fit you like a glove!

a return/exchange for this item under some circumstances, such as too large, too small, etc. Please contact us thru eBay messaging to explain your reason for a return/exchange and we will review your return on a case by case basis. We will also need photos of the sandals that you wish to return. If we approve your return/exchange, the sandals must be returned in the same condition that we sent them to you. You will be responsible for return shipping unless our company has made an error. No exceptions! If any signs of wear, alterations, discoloration, odor or pitting/marking of the soles are visible, we WON'T approve your return. Please be honest!
PLEASE NOTE!
If you order a pair of sandals in black, it will take one extra day to "blacken" your sandals black and allow them to thoroughly dry.  We DO NOT DYE our sandals with black dye, we use a professional method of darkening the leather to black that will not rub off although you may see a small about of black in the water during the soaking/breaking in process. This is normal. We blacken our leather sandals with the same professional method used for dying horse saddles, handmade leather belts and boots.
