The camera is in fairly good condition but appears to be missing a piece as there is a hole with threads but nothing to attach to the threads. I am not a collector so I am not certain as to its function. As far as I can tell all the other parts are intact and could be made to function but again, I am not familiar enough with the camera to know for certain that it is truly functional which is why I priced it as I did. I inherited it as part of my dad's collection- he was a serious collector of photographic images and equipment. I think it needs to go to someone who will appreciate it more than I can.
It may be part of the "Buster Brown" series of cameras as I saw a similar one with that label. This one is not identified with a name other than ANSCO on the leather strap. Inside the camera were all the patent numbers and it also has the signature of the original owner in the same area.
