    Maybe this was buried. I'm not sure. But many were dug up. Everything is very visible and distinct. The head, the letters and the date. The back is especially nice considering how old this is! Also the reverse is maybe 20° rotated clockwise.
    I like to imagine what the history was behind the coins. George Washington would live for another year. Did he give someone a penny who then hoarded it away?!
